Hearing the distant scream of a Kar98 in Hell Let Loose never made my hair stand up the way guns can in Hunt: Showdown or Squad. It's a cool effect on its own, but the noise doesn't carry well over a distance. The standard rifle sounds for all three playable factions (US, Germany, and Russia) sound more like bassy cannons than piercing screeches. I've heard lots of 'whizzes' and 'pops', but Hell Let Loose lacks the intimidating 'crack' you hear when a bullet breaks the sound barrier next to your face. Ironically, one of the most disappointing moments in Hell Let Loose is when bullets just barely miss me. Some of this comes down to the sound effects Black Matter chose for its WW2 arsenal of Kar98s, M1 Garands, and MP40s. No matter how much I mess with audio sliders, the game never gets loud enough for my liking. This is where Hell Let Loose kinda falls flat. When everything is tuned correctly, a gun should be so loud that I can't hear my teammate over the radio. Coming from dozens of hours in Squad, part of that game's immersion is letting the game overwhelm my ears with extremely loud guns, tank fire, and explosive ordnance. The mission and tank warfare ones would be great too.My main nitpick is with sound. This mode will allow teams to focus on building assets without having to worry so much about fighting. Commander Attacks are now allowed after another 5-10 minutes the final two sectors are opened and players can now fight directly. After 5-10 minutes two more sectors open which are closer to the center. This mode can focus on the games amazing building aspect which I hope you add to. Only artillery can fire on the opposite side of the map, no Commander Attacks but recon teams are able to go anywhere. The goal is to fortify for a greater defense. The game was announced via a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017, where it raised US220,000. Players fight in iconic battles of the Western and Eastern Fronts of World War 2 at the platoon level. The outer most sectors are where the headquarters are and so will be the starting point of each team. Hell Let Loose is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Australian studio Black Matter and published by Team17. Originally posted by Quality_House:FOG OF WAR: The maps are divided into 6 sectors. All of these modes could be utilized on the existing maps but I would personally like Fog of War to be on a MASSIVE map while Tank warfare could perhaps be on a smaller map. This could also open the possibility for new Tank focused maps.įEEDBACK: So what do you guys think? Devs, do you think this would be possible to add, perhaps in the future. You are allowed to exit your tank, the resource system. TANK WARFARE: Tanks only, (possibly artillery) Commanders and Squad Leaders are still running the show but only tank teams can be chosen. When spawned in from anywhere players have 1-2 minutes to regroup or a similar fate will befall them. Failure to do so will result in a warning and countdown on their screen until death. An extension of this would be making it so players must stay within a certain distance of their Squad. To encourage people to accomplish the mission and only fight when necessary, Squads should only be awarded points based on how many missions they accomplish ONLY, fighting and defensive capability do not factor. I don't really have any other ideas for missions which would be probable as the opposition is primarily other players who could easily use a Panzerfaust to destroy convoys or areas. MISSION: Commanders are given missions at the beginning of the match, these could include capture an item and bring it back to headquarters or Seek and Destroy areas such as warehouses and depots. An extension of this would be one death per player but this may get boring for newer or less lucky players. LIMITED NUMBERS: Standard multiplayer mode, however each team is limited to a certain number of deaths whether it is 250, 100 or even 50. The outer most sectors are where the headquarters are and so will be the starting point of each team. FOG OF WAR: The maps are divided into 6 sectors.
